Every new release by Xiaomi has always rocked the technology market to its root. After the immense success of Xiaomi Redmi series, Xiaomi has unveiled another beast into the Market Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.

The affordable prices and variety of features have really set this series apart, and even other homegrown Chinese players are facing a tough competition. Thanks to such competition, as you can get a lot more at such a price.

Redmi Note 3 has been a trend setter for Xiaomi. The premium aesthetics and plush aluminum design, with reasonable price has taken place of the star player. Recently we have been seeing some more metal body build mobiles are introduced in the market. Honor 5 X and Le Eco Le 1s has also got a quite fair attention of the buyers.

Redmi Note 3 CameraLet us discuss the main features which separates out from the crowd:

  • Look and feel
Redmi Note 3 looks and feels incredibly premium, especially in gold. The unified metal body provides a smooth matte finish; It’s easy to keep clean too.

In the front, we have the 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display with very slim side bezels. There’s a glossy rim running along the edge of the front panel, which is though elevated but protect the display from scratches. We suspect a scratch resistant layer which will provide an extra safety to the screen. It has a 5-megapixel camera on the top along with a notification LED. The power button as well as the volume rocker perfectly placed at the right side, while the left houses the Sim Trays. It has the dual-sim functionality.

At the rear, we have a 16-megapixel camera, a dual-tone dual-LED flash, the fingerprint sensor, and a speaker grille at the bottom. The camera quality is pretty good and the picture quality far more high standard than other models.

  • Software
The phone is powered by Android Lollipop fork called MIUI 7, which is has been reworked. The revised version 7 is certainly more appreciated and polished rather than its predecessor. The overall UI level flexibility has been enhanced in present software. Some enhancements like reading mode bluelight filter settings, lock screen wallpaper carousel, faster finger print sensors etc. are some cool new features you find in this device.

Xiaomi has designed a one-handed mode, which you can enter or exit by simply swiping right over the Home button.

MIUI 7 supports up to 13 languages.

Some of the quite trendy preloaded apps are:

      • Mi Remote.
      • Signing up for a Mi account gives you 5GB of cloud storage for backing up your data.
      • Security app
      • WPS Office
  • Performance
Redmi Note 3’s combination of hardware and software has just elevated the Android experience. The interface is damn smooth in terms of maneuvering across the device supporting higher level of multitasking.

Though too much task execution and benchmark test running continuously, has increased the phone’s temperature, but it is something which is expected. Every device with metal body tends to emit good amount of heat.
