After its release of Z1 compact in CES 2014, the Japanese gadget Giant it now getting ready to unleash another beast upon the gadget world.
There was rumour about the upcoming successor of its flagship phone Xperia Z1. But now upto some extent the rumours turned out to be true.
With the courtesy of a Chinese website Digi-wo, the leaked pics of Xperia Z2 from Sony’s R&D division were spotted in there website. The upcoming Z2-codenamed Sirius is expected to bring a neck-to-neck competition among some top-end smartphone’s life.
In terms of hardware specifications, the USP of this product would be the 5.3-inch dazzling triluminous display, and the ultimate show stopper is the camera. The Xperia Z2 will come with a camera of 23 MP. This the ever highest camera specification found in any smartphone and tablet.
Its predecessor Z1 and Z1 compact were having rear camera of 20.3 MP which was also the highest among any high end smartphone.
Reports also confirmed that Sony would drop its earlier glass back panel cover and adopt the carbon fibre or full metallic body set.
It is expected to be released in five colour variants and would be unveiled in upcoming MWC 2014 which is to be held in Barcelona this year. MWC is scheduled from Feb-24 to Feb-27.
