Sony NEX 3 NL Review:mirror less APS

Sony Latest entry level mirror less APS (Advance Photo System)camera NEX 3NL(ALPHA Series),when we remove the lens we have a APS lens which we also get in mid range DSLR Cameras. We can get a lot of image capture power and a very compact body.

The body is redesigned to make smaller then the previous Nex camera. The camera use a 16.1 MP Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor which deliver rich detailed images with smooth and vivid colour.

On the back we have a 3 inch LCD but its not touch screen as we get in other NEX model. Its thus face forward for self portrait which is cool. The view angle is good but not excellent as we get in other models. But we can navigate very easy using the control dial at the back where as in the other NEX model we simple tap around the menu, but realy no trouble at all using the control dial at the back.

One major advantage in the design is the sd card and the port are located at the left hand side of the camera. The previous model of NEX the sd card was located at the bottom near the tri pod socket issue with this design we have to dismount the tripod socket to change the sd card. The new design seem to be recovered. The battery compartment is in the usual place.Another change is the we don’t need to remove the battery to charge it we can just pop the left panel and use the Micro USB cable. There is a adapter in the box which will give most efficient if u use the original cables. A little disappointment this about this camera is that it come with an in pop up flash.Which means we don’t have an accessories port, due to which we may not be able to use external microphone and external flash.Though the microphone are installed at the top of the camera which is great for narration.

On the top we have a play back button, shutter release, power toggle on and off.A new feature is added power zoom lens and zoom toggle at the top.We can use the zoom using focus ring or we can just use the toggle. The zoom toggle will be in great use if you are doing videos.New NEX the lens are 50% than the previous lens.We also have a zoom toggle at the left side of the lens.We also have a video dedicated button.

We do have control on the rear as same as the any other NEX model. We launch the menu by tapping the menu button, and two button which are variable depending on the current mode.To navigate any other the menu just turn the wheel and press the selector button present in the middle of the wheel. The Ui is same as the previous Ui.The Ui is not the best we have seen.
