“With our largest smartphone screen to date, the Nokia Lumia 625 is a perfect example of how Nokia is delivering leading smartphone innovation and experiences at every price point,” said Jo Harlow, executive vice president, Nokia Smart Devices

A 1.2-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor and 512MB RAM power the device. It will come with the standard features like Xbox Live, Microsoft Office, and 7GB online skydrive and brightly colored changeable shell (orange, yellow, bright green, white, black) with Live Tile personalization of Windows  Phone 8. So what’s more ? It support 4G LTE (the fastest internet connection) and new Bluetooth 4.0 LE (Low Energy). Its estimated retail price will be 220  € without taxes and subsidies , that’s really cheap and keep it under budget category.

Phablets, smartphone handsets with bigger screen size with capabilities of tablet, have become more popular in recent years. While other smartphone rivals like Sony with Xperia Z Ultra (featured 6.4 inch screen) and Samsung’s Galaxy Mega (5.8 inch screen) are driving the smartphone market to a new horizon, it seems Nokia also trying to firmly keep a position in “Who says, Size doesn’t matter?” competition. Nokia’s latest smartphone, Lumia 1020 was released two weeks ago, which receives mixed reaction .The Samsung’s New Galaxy Note 3 is all set to launch in September and we would assume this is the perfect time when Nokia will want to put its phablet  on sale.
