Micromax launches its first 3-D phone:Canvas A115 3-D


It is unbelievable that completion has got upto such an extent. As reported India’s 2nd largest phone maker in 2012 Micromax has brought nightmare to all leading smartphone companies, especially Samsung. Its earlier announcement of first 3-D phone, Micromax launches its first glasses-free 3D phone Micromax Canvas 3-D A115. It is the fourth kind among the classy Canvas series.

As promised, Micromax is able to provide to glasses-free 3-D phone at an unbelievable price of Rs9999. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor along with a RAM of 1GB and internal storage of 4GB. It has an expandable memory limit of 32GB with Micro-SD slot. It dazzles with 5-inch display with 480×800 resolution. The beast runs with Android Jellybean 4.1.2. Its usp is the 3-D Screen. The stereoscopic 3D technology used by Micromax facilitates the user to watch 3-D content in the screen without having the hassle of glasses.

Canvas A115 3-D comes with pre-installed ‘Micromax 3D Space’ which allows access to 3D videos, and some pre-loaded 3D games. The device also comes with a setting with helps to convert regular pictures into 3-D images.

It comes with a sporty 5 Megapixel autofocus rear-view camera and a 0.3 MP front facing one. It is good that Canvas A115 3-D has a battery of 2000mAh which support up to 4.5hrs of talk time. The battery capacity is good enough of such 3D display phones.

The phone will be available in the market in first week of May as well as in its company website.

Currently the only 3-D phone in the market is LG Optimus 3-D which costs around 26k. The release of Micromax A115 3-D has made the competition tougher for LG and other leading brands. Earlier the sale Canvas A116 HD phablet has raised the bar in the market.

Micromax claims to have sold 1.98 million sets in the last quarter of 2012 outnumbering Samsung with 1.84 million sets sold. Micromax has been recognised as the second largest phone maker in India, and I see the days are not so far to be the number 1.
