After the success of LG Optimus G and LG Optimus G Pro, LG has decided to focus its attention on the mid-range market. LG is all set to release the Optimus F5 globally, though the intial launch will be in France. It will be available to the rest of the world including India in next few weeks. Exact date of launch is being kept under wraps. Also, the expected price of the device is not known.
The LG Optimus F5 is a LTE compatible smartphone featuring a 1.2GHz Dual core processor and 1GB of Ram running Android version 4.1.2.The Display is 4.3 inch IPS Display with a pixel Density of 256ppi. On the storage front, the phone has a 8 GB inbuild memory with micro-sd support up to 64 GB. It features a 5mp main camera and 1.3mp camera on the front.
According to LG, the main problem faced by smartphone users is the low battery life. To counter this, the phone has been developed keeping in mind the energy consumption. Also, LG Optimus F5 packs in 2,150mAh battery. This will make sure the phone gives excellent battery backup.
This phone will also feature the Q-slide feature which was found only on the premium LG handsets. The Q-slide function is a multitasking feature which makes the current window translucent thereby providing access to other applications. It will also sport the live zooming feature.
